Frequently asked questions.
What does a leadership consultant do?
A leadership consultant supports businesses by helping leadership teams work more effectively—both individually and collectively. This can include building better leadership structures, improving team dynamics, resolving people-related challenges, designing performance incentives, and preparing for strategic shifts like scaling or succession planning.
At our consultancy, we specialise in people-first leadership consulting. We work with small and medium-sized businesses to ensure leadership decisions are aligned with values, culture and long-term goals. Whether you're navigating change or simply need more clarity at the top, we're here to help.
How do I know if my business needs leadership consulting?
If your business is growing quickly, experiencing leadership tension, or struggling to stay aligned as it scales, leadership consulting can help. You might notice signs such as:
A lack of clarity on senior roles
Culture drift as the team expands
Slow or unclear decision-making
Frustration at the leadership level
Difficulty adapting to change
We support early-stage startups and established SMEs across the UK, particularly in West Sussex, including Brighton, Worthing, Rustington, and Shoreham to overcome these kinds of challenges with clarity and care.
Do you work with individuals or leadership teams?
We do both. Some clients work with us on a 1:1 basis, typically founders or senior leaders who want strategic support or a sounding board. Others engage us to work with their full leadership team, often to support alignment, improve structure or navigate periods of change.
It’s common for clients to start individually and later bring us into wider team conversations as trust builds.
What types of businesses or sectors do you work with?
We work with a broad mix of small and medium-sized businesses. Our experience spans:
The property industry
Creative agencies and marketing services
Retail and ecommerce
Contracting and trade businesses
Charities and mission-driven organisations (0 fees for Charities)
We focus on people, leadership and structure, rather than any one industry. Our approach is adaptable to your business model and team culture.
Can we work with you on a flexible or short-term basis?
Yes. We offer a range of engagement options:
Advisory retainers for regular check-ins and guidance
Hands-on project support for bigger pieces of change work
Pay-as-you-go sessions if you need one-off support without commitment
You can start light and scale the engagement up if and when it feels right.
Where are you based and do you offer in-person or remote consulting?
We’re based in West Sussex and regularly work with clients across Brighton, Worthing, Rustington, Shoreham-by-Sea, and throughout the South East.
We also support businesses remotely across the UK. Most of our leadership consulting, HR support and change facilitation is delivered online, but we also offer in-person sessions, offsites and workshops where needed.
